TheFinancial Analyst is responsible for maintaining various computer databases, aggregating, and analyzing data as well as preparing reports supporting the current business needs.

Responsibilities Include:

· Develop a working knowledge of existing sources of business data

· Maintain computer databases in accordance with vendor specifications and industry standards

· Collaborate with management and IT support in development of reports and routines

· Assist with migration of data between computer data bases

· Create and maintain reports supporting current business needs

· Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for the operations team

· Support restaurant and bakery operations through regular reporting, analysis, and projects including sales and expense tracking, store bonus calculations, and pricing analysis

· Analyze data using Microsoft Excel functionality such as Pivot Tables, Conditional Formulas and Data Tables

· Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews

· Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting

· Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting required

· Ability to clearly express oneself verbally and in writing

· Strong knowledge of MS Office products with intermediate MS Excel knowledge and ability to format and create basic formulas.

· Excellent attention to detail

· Strong analytical and data gathering skills

· Self-starter with a strong desire to drive business value

· High intellectual curiosity

· Experience working with Microsoft Excel to aggregate and analyze large datasets

· Experience structuring and executing analysis regarding business and financial issues using tools such as variance analysis, trend analysis and regression analysis
