We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Field Laborer for our office

located in Folsom, California.

day. We are currently in the need of Field Laborers to help with a variety of construction tasks including

but not limited to demolition, minor framing, drywall, texture, paint, trim carpentry and minor plumbing

and electrical all as directed by the project Superintendent or Project Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in construction/renovation projects. 

Maintain a clean work site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order

to eliminate potential hazards. 

Maintain all Safety and Conduct standards and procedures. 

Material handling and storage. 

Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist job materials. 

Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. 

Other responsibilities as assigned. 

Ensure the punch list is created, distributed and completed in a timely manner. 

Maintain tool inventory and report status as required. 

Understand and utilize the Company Policy and Procedures Manual and Best Practices

Guidelines including Master Forms Library. 

Participate in ongoing training efforts. 

Ensure compliance with all OSHA jobsite requirements. 

Ensure workplace safety including on-site housekeeping. Report issues to project team

immediately. 

Performs other functions as requested of them by management and on-site Superintendent. 

Conduct evaluations for all assigned employees on your project. 

Ensure client needs are exceeded throughout the course of the project.

KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:

Educational and experience requirements includes a High School diploma or GED equivalent. 

Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines including but not limited to, safety

regulations, inspections, scheduling, cost control, quality control, construction drawings and

erosion control. 

Must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel throughout California. 

Ability to assume responsibility, interface, and effectively communicate with others is a must. 

Basic construction industry knowledge preferred. 

Must meet company minimum driving standards. 

Demonstrate enthusiasm for challenges and new initiatives. Have a "never-say-quit" attitude and

"do whatever it takes" to complete the project.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary

stairs, ladders, scaffolding, etc. and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision

abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the

ability to adjust focus. 

Performing this job requires use of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls,

sit, talk and listen, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works from the onsite office and

can be exposed to site conditions such as: moving mechanical parts; high precarious places;

fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in

these work environments is usually moderate to very loud and one should seek and use proper

PPE.
