We are seeking reliable drivers who can be efficiently and maximize their time management in order to deliver small packages/envelopes to our customers in THEIR own personal vehicle. The FedEx Ground terminal is located in greenville, NC, but our service area is not. We deliver in the following cities:

• Kinston
• LaGrange
• Deep Run
• Snow Hill
• Hookerton
• Maury

Our service areas include country and city routes, so there is always something for people who might prefer a city route than a country route...or vise versa. FOR EXAMPLE: Deep Run and Kinston have beautiful country roads that will have you delivering with your hair blowing in wind like Beyonce. We offer more urban/city areas as well for drivers who are like me who like to delivery in the city instead of delivering to the children of the corn, or Daniel Kaluuya from NOPE.

Overall performance and company need will dictate the position. Professional career minded and safe courteous drivers need only apply.

SALARY:

• $14-18 an hour
• Gas will be compensated.
• Paid weekly

JOB TYPE:

SHIFT/SCHEDULE:

• Possible self-determined schedule for reliable drivers
• Weekend and weekday availability
• 4-8 hours a day

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load all packages scheduled for delivery in your vehicle based on how you will run the route
• Deliver all packages to correct addresses, obtaining signatures, being compliant when taking pictures of the package when you deliver it (new implemented policy from FedEx), and proof of receipt when necessary.
• Commmunicate with managers about your deliveries and codes
• Be able to deliver at least 16 stops per hour
• Responsible for company equipment
• OBEY ALL LAWS, POLICIES, RULES, AND REGULATIONS.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 1 year of being fully licensed including driving experience (No commercial driving experience is required)
• Valid North Carolina license
• Pass a full criminal background check
• Pass a drug test

No DOT road test, No Physical exam, No supervised driving training, and No DOT service hours regulations are applied to personal vehicles.

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Vehicles must be under 10 thousand pounds which include sedans, station wagons, SUVs, minivans and pickup trucks (covered and secured bed). NO CARGO VANS.
• The vehicle year IS NOT older than 15 years.
• If you drive a truck, the truck bed HAS to have TOP to the bed
• Vehicles are operated safely and in compliance with applicable laws, including loading
• Vehicles are to maintain all lines of sight whiledelivering
• Are in safe operating condition with appearance meeting reasonable customer expectations.
• Do NOT include FedEx branding but DO include a dashboard placard with a FedEx Ground logo to display.
• Vehicles are to be insured under a current personal auto policy at or above state minimum levels.
