Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Faculty Group Practice Administrative Operations Lead **Brooklyn Heights**.
In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to staff, including front desk, schedulers, admins, and clinical staff, assisting management with maintaining effective operations at the practice. The incumbent acts as the "go-to" person for administrative staff for operational issues.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with office and safety related projects, and ensure they are progressing efficiently and will be completed by the deadline.
- Assists in training office personnel for front-desk, and reception activities
- Recognizes routine problems and recommends suggestions, ideas and solutions
- Troubleshoot routine problems, raises unresolvable issues to a higher level.
- Determines and establishes the explanation to routine calls, issues and questions and defers questions not covered by specific instructions or common practice to management.
- Maintain MD scheduling templates in Epic
- Receives, compiles, classifies, consolidates and reports on data from varied sources as directed by management
- Maintain cooperative and professional relationships with physicians, nurses, office and clinical staff. Acts as the "go-to" person for patient intake, pre-cert, referrals, prescription refill operations and staff, stepping in at times to assist.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Assist with the enforcement of all office policies and procedures. Specifically track issues related to attendance, lateness, and behavioral patterns that require a verbal or written warning and escalates to management as needed.
- May contribute to employee performance reviews
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Associate's Degree, 3+ yrs of relevant experience including office administration and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience and competency with varied computer hardware and software, including EPIC (Super User). Writing skills to compose and edit logical, detailed, comprehensive and grammatically correct correspondence. Skill in communicating with various audiences with diplomacy and tact. Knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to handle matters of highly confidential and sensitive nature. Ability to recognize and identify problems, implications and propose alternative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of computer-based scheduling and appointment programs. Excellent telephone skills.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $59,332 - $59,332 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
