Facility Maintenance Associate Job at Rug Doctor, LLC
The Facility Maintenance Associate is responsible for keeping all areas in the facility in an orderly condition. This position will also perform routine work in repair and general maintenance related to incidents (e.g. spills).

Essential Functions:
- Orders parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers, or obtains them from storerooms.
- Records maintenance and repair work performed and associated costs.
- Oversees and troubleshoots minor electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry and building maintenance tasks
- Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning, vacuuming buffing floors/rugs, keeping wall and glass areas clean and emptying trash receptacles and cleans and santanizes restrooms.
- Monitors building security and safety to prevent work hazards - locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use.
- Operate a counterbalance forklift up to four high levels and a scissor lift.
- Notifies management of need for repairs, and cleaning debris.
- Other assigned duties as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High School Diploma
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Manual dexterity.
- Basic Mechanical ability/knowledge.
- Must be able to work both with a team and independently.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of standing and bending.
- Must be able to lift or push up to 50 pounds at times.
