• What will you do?*

As a Facility Manager you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, operation, safety, and security of all Quartus facilities.

• Essential Job Functions:*

Leadership

• Develop and lead direct and indirect staff to achieve security, safety, and facilities goals
• Lead by example by demonstrating our organizational Values in all you do (People First, Integrity, Curiosity, Bold)
• Develop long term planning, space allocation and facility usage and advise key stakeholders thoughout the company on execution

Safety and Security

• Create and maintain safety and security plans (IIPP, ERP, etc)
• Lead and develop corporate safety committee to promote culture of safety
• Manage access card system, security NVR system, and facility access policy

Facilities: Operations and Maintenance

• Manage vendors, contractors, and internal staff to ensure the proper maintenance, safety and security of all facilities and grounds
• Participate, facilitate, and negotiate service contracts with outside vendors to achieve balance between performance and cost in compliance with Quartus’ values, standards, and guidelines for business conduct
• Develop CapEx expenses forecast for facilities needs
• Manage and monitor HVAC and particulate control rooms
• Communicate with appropriate stakeholders to schedule facilities related maintenance and downtime
• Conduct periodic facility assessments identifying areas of risk, deferred maintenance, savings opportunities, and executing corrective action plans as needed

Facilities: Planning and Development

• Develop and deploy long term facilities space allocation and planning
• Manage relationships with landlords and outsourced real estate service providers to ensure compliance with agreements, perform lease audits and maximize cost savings
• Participate in M&A considerations, activities, and integration
• Pursue federal, state, and local incentives and tax credits where possible

What are we looking for?
Leadership Experience

• Experienced leader of people and groups with both direct and indirect reports
• Experience attracting, retaining, and developing people
• Self-motivated, goal oriented and a team player
• Strong written and communication skills

Facilities Experience

• > 15 year’s experience in facilities management roles or >10 years with bachelors in related field
• Experience with long term planning and operations of multiple facilities in the US
• Experience with opening new facilities including cleanrooms, laboratory, and production areas
• Experience with negotiating contracts with vendors, contractors and property/building management
• Experience with developing and managing safety and security plans
• Prefer strategic thinker with experience connecting safety, security, and facilities to value creation for the company
• Must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)

Travel required: 25-50%
