What You'll Do
The candidate will be responsible for managing, participating in activities, and decision making regarding the LO/TO program for Pantex. Must be able to communicate and coordinate across multiple organizations including Infrastructure Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Production, and Environmental Safety and Health in order to assess and mitigate hazardous energies and to provide personnel protection controls for the craft. Responsibilities also include gathering, writing and revising technical information regarding LO/TO procedures in accordance with established requirements (including configuration management and principles of technical writing). Attending critiques and other mandatory meetings involving LOTO incidents, coaching LOTO employees and/or supervisors on the process, and performing management assessments and other observations when assigned.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in manufacturing facilities is desired as well as the ability to read blueprints/schematic drawings.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Typical relevant experience ranging from 4 to 7 years.
- OR, a Master’s degree and a minimum 1 years of relevant experience.
- Ten or more years of relevant education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting
- The candidate must be familiar with the regulatory requirements affecting LO/TO procedures and must determine the technical requirements that apply to the procedure by examining:
- DOE Rules, Orders, and Standards
- Hazard Analysis documents
- OSHA Regulations
- Specifications or other requirements documents.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
