Job description
The Processing Supervisor is a team leader of a 15-20 person team. We are seeking someone experienced in Bucking, Trimming, Quality Control, Inventory and packing of Cannabis flower products. Oversee the implementation of the Processing SOPs including Bucking, Trimming, Packing, Weighing, Invenotry, Reporting, Transfers, Equipment maintenance, storage and supplies. Maintain a healthy, motivated, and safe work environment, ensure reliable, safe, and high-quality product commensurate with market demand. Minimum of 2 years team supervision or management in Cannabis industry required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Facility maintenance, repair and light construction.
* Basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry skills.
* Unistrut fabrication and installation.
* Forklift and Scissor lift operation.
* Ability to work on a ladder and scaffolding.
* Installation and maintenance of LED light fixtures.
* Installation and maintenance of grow room fans.
* Installation and maintenance of in room irrigation system.

Skills and Qualifications

* Experience working as a lead with a team of 1-5 people.
* Ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples.
* High-level of patience and flexibility.
* Ability to communicate clearly, honestly and effectively with staff, management and community members in all situations.
* Ability to perceive and meet the needs of the team with moderate direction.
* Ability to maintain high-standards in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.
* Skill in computer systems, programs, and applications recommended
* Ability to adapt to a changing industry and an expanding organization.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree. Three years of experience required, five or more years preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (spreadsheets, word processing, email, reporting tools, etc.). Must be 18 years old and pass criminal background check.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work may require prolonged sitting, standing, bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate farm equipment, a computer, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing. Requires close vision with the ability to see color and adjust focus. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and push/pull up to 100 pounds.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed between several rooms. The facility may be loud due to fans and filtration systems, and fluctuate between extreme cold and hot temperatures. Must work with and around fertilizers and pesticides. Work involves frequent contact with staff. Must be available to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events, with 24/7 situations arising.

CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: Related certifications, licenses and knowledge preferred. CA Driver's License is required.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
