JOB SUMMARY

Enhances the growth of gaming revenues through the development of our customer base.

Maintains relationships with valued gaming guests and markets our gaming product to

potential high-limit guests. Supervises casino hosts to ensure duties and responsibilities

are being met.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree preferred.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years Host or Player Development experience in a major gaming

operation of similar size and stature.

  • One (1) to (3) years in a supervisor or manager role.
  • Successful completion of supervisor’s lap test.
  • Bi-lingual preferred.
  • Must have a proven track record of increasing gaming revenue through established

customer base.

  • Must have strong telemarketing skills.
  • Computer literate in PCS, AS400 and Microsoft office preferred.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, team building and problem solving skills.
  • Must be resourceful and highly motivated in seeking out new VIP opportunities.
  • Must be able to work effectively across all departments.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be willing to adhere to all Louisiana gaming regulations and guidelines.
  • Must be willing to work any shift and any day when necessary.
  • Must be able to work extended hours during special events, including limited

overnight travel.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Identifies premium slot and table players with emphasis on developing

relationships with players.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of new programs and promotions to

ensure a steady flow of high-quality patronage.

  • Provides direction, support, and developmental training for casino hosts to achieve

Caesars’ goals and objectives through the fair application of all policies and

procedures.

  • Acts as a role model and coach while developing employees using a consistent,

approachable demeanor and clearly articulated expectations.

  • Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, employee morale,

motivation, and open communication.

  • Ensures timely and accurate performance appraisals and accurate work history

entries.

  • Responsible for complete data entry of player information, contacts, letters, phone

calls into PCS system.

  • Increases market share and company profitability in accordance with all gaming

regulations.

  • Develops and promotes special events with target areas as directed.
  • Makes reservations for high-end guests as appropriate.
  • Represents management at special events and promotions.
  • Greets and hosts high-end customers, and maintains the highest levels of courtesy,

friendliness and hospitable attitude throughout.

  • Tracks guests’ visits, arranges transportation and accommodations and provides

complimentaries according to established guidelines.

  • Travels to various markets to meet new potential high-end players.
  • Remains informed of competitive promotional methods.
  • Ability to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and

company policies.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of VIP information.

DEMANDS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

PHYSICAL & MENTAL:

  • Must be able to move quickly around property.
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist and work at a desk.
  • Responds to visual and aural cues.
  • Must be able to work independently and proven to be self-motivated.
  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office

equipment.

  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Must be able to continuously maneuver around office and casino.
  • Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guests’

needs.

  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.
