Job Purpose/Statement(s): Under general direction, provides liaison, coordinating, and confidential secretarial and administrative support to the County Superintendent of Schools and the County Board of Education; provides support to the El Dorado County School Boards Association and independently carries out school governing board election procedures. In addition, assists the School’s Attorney; performs a variety of difficult office assistance and legal secretarial work; relieves the Attorney of administrative detail work; answers public and staff contacts and concerns. This position is defined as confidential because of involvement in the handling of confidential material related to Office of Education meet and confer and negotiation processes.
Experience Required: Recent full-time administrative experience of an increasingly responsible nature. Work experience in legal office assistance and in an educational setting is preferred.
Education Required: Education at a level to demonstrate the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.
