“EVERYDAY” SUBSTITUTE POSITION

EFFECTIVE DATE OF ASSIGNMENT: September 5, 2023 – June 30, 2024 (1-year position)
LOCATION: (3) Johnson City Elementary School
(3) Shared between Johnson City Middle School and Johnson City High School
SALARY: $33,300
BENEFITS:
· Paid holidays and benefit days
· Health and Dental Insurance (currently employer pays 100% of plan cost)
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:
● Candidates with relevant NYS teaching certificates strongly preferred.
● Candidates with bachelor’s degree or associates degree and relevant experience will be considered.
The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate the Ability to:
- Build relationships with all students and staff.
- Demonstrate flexibility with daily class assignments depending on the needs of the building.
- Assist in promoting a positive school culture.
- Be willing to learn research-based instructional practices to be used when covering a variety of classes at the elementary and secondary levels.
