Event Equipment Set-Up & Break Down Positions

Independent, Hardworking, Punctual, Responsible Early Risers please apply for summer work for Event Set-up! We are adding individuals to our Event Set-Up Team as well as break down positions. This team are the equipment experts that set-up and break down our outdoor catered events at beaches, parks and beyond throughout San Diego.

These positions are Part-Time with a starting pay of $15.00p/h. Set up Candidates must be early risers to arrive at event site as early as 4AM. There is little to no supervision in the early hours, responsible individuals that can self motivate are ideal candidates!

Also, have breakdown positions that available starting around 2:00 pm.

This is a crucial position in our business and to the success of each event.

Training is provided for all new Team Members!

Event Equipment Set-Up Leads are Responsible for but not limited to:

• Securing the Picnic site the client has chosen for their event.
• Assuring the client acquires the location they are promised.
• Early morning on site contact point to receive delivery from our warehouse and outside vendors of equipment, potta potties, fencing, concession attractions (mounbounces and more).
• Communicating with warehouse Manager to report missing or faulty items.

Equipment Set-Up Lead Tasks include and are not limited to:

• Set-up of events.
• Set-up Canopies, Tables & Chairs, Carnival Booths, Volley ball Courts, Beverage Bars, Concession Stands.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Deliver, set and strike event décor and equipment.
• Striking (tear down) of events.
• Equipment troubleshooting.
• Proven self-motivator.
• Whatever it takes. Start up attitude required!
• Must have the ability to work with little to no supervision, along with the ability to work within a team environment.
• Must be able to interact and communicate with customers directly in professional manner.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualified Equipment Set-Up Lead Requirements:

• Age 18 and over.
• Need reliable transportation or own transportation to get to and from work locations. (our events are throughout San Diego, ranging from Escondido to Chula Vista).
• Are Available and Commit to working all Saturday’s through to October. (Sunday and Weekday’s available for those that would seek additional hours).
• Must be able to lift 30lbs or more.
• Valid and Clean Driver’s License preferred.
• Must be able to work in United States (pass E-Verify).
