5+ years of experience designing/developing web applications for products using WPF, C#, JavaScript technologies ( Node, React) and SQL Server Design database schema, developing stored procedures (T-SQL).
Ability to complete all phases of SDLC including analysis, design, development, testing and support utilizing traditional waterfall and Scrum/Agile methodologies
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.
The client is seeking a full stack Application, Database and ETL developer with strong C#, .NET, SQL Database Development, Data Integrations and Data Analytics, including ArcGIS Online experience. Candidate must also have strong SQL server experience and understanding of enterprise application architecture including Azure cloud development.
In addition to new efforts, this position will be supporting and developing based on an existing platform. This will require a strong knowledge of Progress Telerik.NET tools to minimize re-work.
Application Development
- Participate in full lifecycle development of software including analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, deployment and support.
- Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications.
- Employ best practices for designing scalable, extensible, secure applications.
- Design and develop n-tier .NET MVC web applications, WPF applications, web APIs and web services, windows services and console applications using C#, [website], JavaScript technologies and SQL Server.
- Design and develop both internal and external facing APIs/RESTful services for Enterprise Application Integration of applications hosted on premise and in the cloud.
- Develop release management strategies and configure automated deployment packages for deploying application and database changes to QA, Staging and Production environments.
- Configure and manage Azure DevOps for source control and automated build, test and deployment of developed software.
- Perform unit testing and analyze application and database performance on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, resolving performance bottlenecks, and general debugging.
- Assist with development team code reviews when necessary.
- Create technical documents and artifacts for developed software products using Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint and Office.
- Responsible for designing, coding, and implementing software solutions using modern techniques and programming language
- Provides database development in creating specific applications for businesses
- Provides general support on information technology to design, develop, execute, and maintain the database application systems, applying several RDBMS
- Ensures research and innovation at all levels of the software development process
- May participate in multiple projects simultaneously as a senior development team member
- Functions as technical architect and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on enterprise related software systems
- Performs the role of the principal designer responsible for complex systems and their subsystems employing deep knowledge of current technology and tools, as well as relevant systems that are already existing
- Performs administrative duties as well as some project management tasks.
- Provide guidance and support to Application Developers
- Assist with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning
Responsible for creating Data orchestration with Azure Data Factory Pipelines & Dataflows. Key role is to understand the business requirements and implement the requirements using Azure Data Factory.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirement and actively provide inputs from Data perspective
- Understand the underlying data and flow of data.
- Build simple to complex pipelines & dataflows.
- Should be able to implement modules that have security and authorization frameworks.
- Recognize and adapt to the changes in processes as the project evolves in size and function.
- Expert level knowledge on Azure Data Factory
- Advance knowledge of Azure SQL DB & Synapse Analytics, Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL, Power Automate (primary) or Logic Apps.
- Should be able to analyze and understand complex data
- Knowledge of Azure data lake is required and Azure Services like Analysis Service, SQL Databases, Azure DevOps, CI/CD is a must.
- Knowledge of master data management, data warehousing and business intelligence architecture.
- Experience in data modeling and database design with excellent knowledge of SQL Server best practices.
- Should have clear understanding of DW lifecycle and contribute in preparing Design documents, Unit Test plans, Code review reports.
- Experience working in Agile environment (Scrum, Lean, Kanban) is a plus
- Partner with department owners and data analysts to understand the business questions our customers have and the data that drive the insights
- Visualize data in innovative ways to communicate complex concepts that tell a story in a simple way through graphs, charts, infographics, dashboards, and geographic visualization techniques
- Partake in user interviews to gather feedback and develop insights to turn them into design concepts; validate designs using a variety of customer-driven methods
- Partake in concept sessions and rapidly produce prototypes using sketches, mockups, and BI visualization tools
- Provide continuous design support around in software development lifecycle
- Advocate for and own the consistency of the design implementation as part of the product development process
- Support occasional customer deliverables requiring data visualizations
