Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a high-tech manufacturer located in Hillsboro, OR. Using their technical knowledge, the Maintenance Technician will perform set-up, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment.
PAY: $25-$30/hr
Equipment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Inspect and analyze defective parts to determine necessary machine adjustments, troubleshoot and maintain robots and related pneumatic automated production equipment utilizing PLC programs, perform preventive maintenance checks as required, and support team projects, quality checks, and process improvement activities as directed.
- Respond to urgent maintenance projects/requests in support of manufacturing, utilizing test and diagnostic equipment to perform equipment audits/maintenance, recording spare part usage, communicating low inventory items to appropriate personnel, and maintaining a log of issues/resolutions.
- Utilize PLC programs for troubleshooting, identifying, and communicating issues while offering solutions, and making adjustments to/and work on various automated production equipment with limited supervision.
- Follow company-wide safety programs, 5S initiatives, and ISO procedures
Equipment Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Electronics preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of combined mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience or equivalent required.
- Actively participate in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with all levels of personnel.
- Solve problems using critical thinking and sound judgment.
- Intermediate PC skills are required, including experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and email.
