Entry Level Sales / Account Manager - Plastic Injection Molding Job at Summit Plastic Molding
Our company is a full-service plastic injection molding company located in Shelby Township, MI. Responsible for providing interface with customers and development of current business and the acquisition of new business. Develops relationships with customers to improve and enhance customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strong communication skills and ability to interface with our customers, suppliers and co-workers within Manufacturing, Tooling, Accounting, Purchasing and Sales departments.
Analyze blueprints, electronic data, technical specifications to develop cost of injection mold tooling and piece cost.
Solely responsible of generating new business and take over business
Direct all areas of input into the company’s quoting process and coordinate the generation of all quotation responses for new business.
Management of customer cost savings initiatives and programs.
Coordinate the database of historical quoting performance.
Actively participate in the company’s program management process
Job Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
- 1 – 3 years Sales experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Industrial background preferably in automotive.
- Thorough understanding of financials related to budgeting, forecasting, costing
- Highly self-motivated and readily takes responsibility for one’s own work product.
- Must have basic PC and Microsoft Office skills.
- BS in Business Administration, Engineering, or Accounting preferred but not required.
- Must be able to travel to Canada.
