PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Support leadership in developing and facilitating requirements for publicly ticketed entertainment venues. Facilitate artist rider requirements at assigned venues and source and deliver specific local talent as needed for internal events property-wide. Manage staff in the operation and maintenance of the showroom, entertainment, special events and group sales, headliner entertainment and hotel and casino PA and television systems. Interface with National Acts (headliners) and staff along with assisting in the advancement of all transportation and hospitality. Collaborate with production and booking vendor as needed to conduct show operations, manage all ticketing systems and coordinate various staff as needed for all events. Collaborate with marketing to ensure all events are properly marketed. Ensure all paperwork, riders, and other information is managed and updated in a timely manner, such as show reports and event reports.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Facilitates artist rider requirements at assigned venues and actively participates in sourcing and delivering specific non-technical material and services required by artist and performance.
  • Confirms all transportation and rooming needs of incoming artists and entourages with entertainment partners to ensure hospitality, backstage, and dressing room requirements are fulfilled and all performance-related needs are met in accordance with the artist’s expectations, program reputation, and venue capabilities.
  • Manages relationships and communicates directly with agents, contractors, producers, promoters, tour management, and artists in alignment with established protocols, including arranging and communicating transportation, room, and food and beverage.
  • Ensures timely, effective, efficient, and accurate flow of communication between clients, property leadership, and senior entertainment executives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external and internal clients using software, and other systems necessary to fulfill contractual requirements for each artist engagement assigned including the processing of payment.
  • Develops local entertainment offers, maintains consistent pricing, procures new content, ensures deals are executed per contractual deal terms, and assists in developing consistent processes and policies for all events.
  • Ensures seamless integration of booked artists into property entertainment vision/strategy.
  • Interfaces with various local event producers, agents, managers, contractors, and artists to ensure proper execution of all event-related activities, while maintaining effective relationships with a wide variety of industry and property decision-makers across all levels and types of entertainment.
  • Ensures all artists and entertainment vendors meet the requirements of the state gaming commission and other regulatory agencies.
  • Ensures all lighting, sound and video equipment in the ballroom, small stage and all other areas of the casino is maintained.
  • Ensures all slot toppers and various systems are displaying the proper content in concert.
• Works extensively with all departments. •
  • Acts as a liaison to all in-coming road tours.
  • Ensures success of the current event.
  • Interacts with casino guests to ensure ticketing and other needs are met for all events.
  • Ensures all safety requirements are met for events.
  • Advances all hospitality, rooming, transportation requirements based on artists riders.
  • Handles all ticketing for events.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION:
  • Supervise/manage a department and have authority over hiring/firing/performance decisions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Two (2) years of guest service experience in a customer-facing capacity
PREFERRED:
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting Three (3) to 5 years of technical theatre and audio video experience
  • Experience in sports/entertainment
  • Experience managing entertainment operations
