Math tutors and English tutors
Honor Academy is hiring instructors for our math and English program. We hold both in-person classes and online classes (Zoom), and we are in search of new instructors who can teach at our physical center located in Cerritos, California. The positions are available for both part-time and full-time.
We are hiring a math tutor for in-person and online classes. Most of our classes are held in the afternoon (between 3pm and 8pm). However, we have morning work (typically from 11am - 12pm) available for you if you are in search of full-time opportunites, so feel free to mention your preference in your cover letter or email to use.

Qualifications we will look for:
-Having a bachelor's degree or at least college sophomore or above in relevant majors.
-Having some familiarities in the current trends in education systems in California, such as common core math.
-[English] Good essay writing knowldege and literature
-[math] Ability to confidently teach upper level math, such as AP Calculus AB/BC will be preferable.
-Ability to have a positive educational influence on learners (elementary - high school students)
-Must possess good interactive communication skills with learners.
