Offit Kurman, a quickly growing full-service law firm, is currently seeking an Employee Engagement Program Specialist. People are central to everything we do. Under the guidance of the Director of Knowledge and Innovation, the Employee Engagement Program Specialist will support development programming and develop and host engagement programming, produce videos, internal marketing materials, and communications through different channels within the Firm. The Employee Engagement Program Specialist must be able to work collaboratively as a member of various work teams, collect and analyze relevant data, and report to management. This position resides within the Knowledge and Innovation Department, whose work is categorized in three pillars: Work, Connect, and Grow. The role requires a strong communicator who builds trust and maintains relationships at all levels of the Firm.


Responsibilities:

  • Supports attorney development programming, including our business development training program, Origination Culture, and our internal networking program, Attorney Connections, by coordinating scheduling and logistics.
  • Develops and hosts engagement programming to strengthen relationships and comradery across the firm.
  • Prepares a program charter (based on our template) for each new program that includes objectives and indicators for success.
  • Collects and reports on relevant program data, including attendance and key indicators.
  • Produces impactful and visually appealing communications, documents, videos, etc.
  • Curates internal communication content based on current projects, committees, and events.
  • Ensures messaging has a consistent design and tone.
  • Serves as an ambassador to promote the Firm's culture.
  • Leverages communication tools already sanctioned by the Firm.
  • Identifies and participates in cross-functional engagement opportunities, such as with practice leaders or on various committees.
  • Manages virtual community and activities calendars.
  • Demonstrates excellent internal networking to form partnerships across the Firm.
  • Participates in Firm-wide initiatives to identify and address gaps in communication.

Experience and Technical Requirements:

  • Education or experience in Communications, Public Relations, HR, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with video editing, graphic design, and content creation software preferred
  • Experience and success with creating and distributing corporate internal communications for a variety of audiences preferred
  • Experience in MS Excel, MS Teams, and/or with MS SharePoint preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to proofread
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 for Business
  • Effective at problem-solving and prioritizing tasks
