Emergency Department Physician Assistant Job at MLEMA - Riddle Hospital
MLEMA, a successful and highly-regarded Emergency Medicine group practice is actively recruiting Physician Assistants with emergency medicine experience or fellowship training at Riddle Hospital in Media, Pennsylvania, a suburb approximately 20 miles south of Philadelphia.
Riddle Hospital is part of Main Line Health, a 4 hospital system in the Philadelphia area. This community based ED serves a hospital that offers interventional cardiology, obstetrics, stroke care, cancer treatment and orthopedics.
Physician Assistants are fully integrated in the ED at Riddle managing all patients that present to the ED. There is abundant overlap of providers each shift, allowing for adequate interaction and supervision daily. Candidates must be experienced and proficient with ED skills, such as suturing, splinting, EKG and XRay interpretation.
Riddle Hospital Practice Profile
ED patient volume (2021): approximately 35,000 visits
Physician Coverage: 3 12 hours shifts daily
Physician Assistant Coverage: 3 12 hour shifts daily
ED structure: 24 bed ED comprised of 16 bed main ED, 8 bed Rapid Evaluation Unit (REU) and separate Internal Disposition Area (IDA)
~200 inpatient beds and expanding
Hospitalist, Intensivist, Interventional Cardiology, Obstetrics services 24/7
EMR: EPIC

Required: MINIMUM of 1 YEAR POST-GRAD EXPERIENCE in EMERGERENCY MEDICINE or URGENT CARE
Required license or certification:
- current state license and board certification

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
