Electrician Job at US Beverage Packers LLC
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE (Basic purpose of job)
Responsible for maintaining industrial controls systems and using Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs to assist in troubleshooting issues daily.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES
· Perform daily walkthroughs and monitor for issues or opportunities for controls improvements.
· Assist maintenance in troubleshooting and resolving issues with machinery and process related issues.
· Train operators and leaders on machine function and troubleshooting.
· Understand PLC software, i.e.: RSLogix 500, Studio 5000, Siemens TIA portal, Ignition SCADA and MES.
· Read and understand schematics including (but not limited to): P&ID, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, manuals, and ladder logic.
· Use electrical diagnostic equipment to diagnose, repair, relocate, or add electrical sensors, including (but not limited to): Photoeyes, proximity switches, temperature probes, pressure sensors, and mass flow meters.
· Troubleshoot plant and corporate networking issues.
· Monitor and troubleshoot robotics, motors, VFDs, remote I/O.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
· Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
· 1+ years of experience with Motor Controls (motor starters, variable frequency drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components)
· 1+ years of experience with programing HMI components
· 1+ years of experience with PLC programs
· 1+ years of experience with Robotics system components and controls
· Experience reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
· Must be able to work at heights of 5 stories while wearing protective fall arrest harness
· Experienced in use of hand tools digital multimeter.
