Job Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining, testing, evaluating, and repairing various electrical components and systems
• Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
• Operating standard maintenance tools such as power tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools, preventative maintenance technology tools, etc.
• Maintain and repair all existing electrical/electronic equipment in the production areas
• Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment
• Maintain strict documentation of all facility electrical circuitry
• Diagnose and test malfunctioning machinery and discuss malfunction with other facility personnel
• Calibrate and adjust all electrical/electronic equipment according to the manufacturer’s specifications
• Maintain proper stock of tools and electrical parts to perform routine work
• Perform general electrical work including control panels and power circuits
• Ensure work is done in accordance with all farm policies and procedures
• Follow all guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures for the facility
• Follow all safety rules and policies

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial experience in electrical support functions
• Must have been employed as an electrician or electrician apprentice within the past 18 months
• Must be knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements, especially those related to electrical/electronic operations and components
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints
• Working knowledge of programmable controls, circuits, computer interfaces, and National Electrical Code
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Associate degree or completion of Technical School and Apprenticeship program or equivalent training, experience, and education
• Knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements, especially those related to electrical/electronic operations and components
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints
• Valid driver’s license required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Billingual in English and Spanish preferred

Pay:
$65,000 per year depending upon qualifications
Schedule:
Monday - Saturday 6:00 am - 4:00 pm
Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs., job requires extensive climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, twisting, walking, lifting & repetitive movements
• Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work in elevated areas
• Ability to work in confined spaces
