Job Title:

Supervisor of Early On Intervention Services

Job Summary:

The Supervisor of Early On Intervention Services serves as the instructional leader of the Early On Intervention Services program. Supervises and evaluates all staff, including ancillary services and other support staff. The Supervisor of Early On Intervention Services is responsible for the development and the implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP’s), when applicable, and all multi-tiered programs and services within the assigned area. The Supervisor of Early On Intervention Services is responsible to coordinate instructional opportunities and communication with staff and families.

Essential Duties (May include, but not limited to):

1. Supervises and coordinates programs and services for students, in compliance with all applicable state and federal rules and regulations, within the assigned facility or in other locations as assigned to the administrator, as directed by the assistant superintendent, Special Education Services.

2. Responsible for programs and services relating to Early On Intervention Services.

3. Supervises and coordinates instructional and ancillary services for the Early On Intervention Services, including parent participation and training.

4. Responsible for the development of professional development activities.

5. Supervises technical, secretarial and other support services in the assigned program.

6. Develops and manages the budget relating to areas of responsibility under the supervision of the assistant superintendent.

7. Responsible for ensuring the collection of student, staff and other data for student information systems including Medicaid billing and other purposes.

8. Utilizes data based decision making to establish, implement, and monitor goals related to priorities.

9. Provides technical assistance to local school districts regarding Early On Intervention Services and Special Education services for students.

10. Acts as liaison to community agencies related to services to infants, toddlers and students eligible for Early On Intervention Services.

11. Assists in writing and securing grants for programs related to Early On Intervention Services.

12. Facilitates and/or coordinates special projects at the direction of the assistant superintendent.

13. Serves on committees, interagency advisory groups and other organizations related to areas of responsibility.

14. Participates with Great Start Collaborative to foster collaboration and partnerships.

15. Consults, counsels and collaborates with parents, school personnel, students and appropriate community agencies regarding behavioral and educational concerns developed in a multi-tiered system of support.

16. Supports cross unit projects and collaborative work teams.

17. Consistently models Win-Win leadership.
