Bowling Green Brandywine has immediate openings for a Full Time Driver. The schedule may vary slightly due to client needs. We provide vehicles for you to drive and you would not travel more than 2-3 hours away during your shift.

The Patient Driver provides for efficient and safe transportation of patient and personnel to and from facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

1) Prepares vehicles including checking all fluids, tires, mirrors and lights.

2) Completes paperwork prior to leaving on trip.

3) Must page any departing patient and leave the facility at scheduled departing time.

4) Must use safe driving skills and obey traffic laws at all times.

5) Must be attentive to special needs of patients.

6) Drop off and pick up at the address indicated on the transportation request with no side trips unless otherwise authorized.

7) Required to check in with the Transportation Office at every stop indicated on the transportation request.

8) Required to check in with the Transportation Office when experiencing any difficulties while on the road concerning patients or mechanical problems.

9) Will provide food to patients in transport at approved meal times.

10) Must retain all receipts for expenses incurred while on the road. Reimbursement is made only when documented by receipts.

11) Answers phone call to the Transportation Office in a professional manner.

Job Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

CPR certification preferred.

HS Diploma or GED required
