WHAT YOU WILL DO:
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
- Hold initial conversation with consumer to learn perspectives towards the claim
- Schedule and perform on-site inspections to identify root cause
- Make decisions regarding disposition of claim and propose follow-ups steps
- Present training classes both in group and 1-on-1 setting at job-site (customers and installers)
- Secure process certificates relative to product application (door and window installations)
DATA EVALUATION:
- Collect data points throughout each stage of the claims process
- Document the experience into defined templates/tools
- Create and/or update tools to capture and evaluate data
- Review data reports with both sales and operations divisions as part of continuous improvement initiatives
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- Basic understanding of basic framing and construction and one year of experience with door assembly, or any combination of education, training or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
- Ability to regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- Excellent follow-up skills
- Comfortability with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
- Confident math skills (algebra and geometry)
- Strong organization and detail orientation skills
- Ability to communicate clearly (both written and verbally)
- Comfortability presenting to small groups
- Ability to work with various types of personalities to achieve results
- Ability to communicate and schedule directly with homeowners
- Ability to project both confidence and sympathy simultaneously
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplications, and division
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to perform all job functions safely
- Installation and basic carpentry skills (preferred)
