GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for driving the growth of our home improvement lending business in the Midwest region by expanding our network of home improvement contractors across our footprint. Manages regional contractor accounts which offer our loan product to homeowners. Works closely with internal stakeholders to drive onboarding of new home improvement contractor partners and provide best-in-class support to partners helping them adopt our home improvement products as the primary financing tool for homeowners. Responsible to actively solicit feedback on products and services offered, conduct research, support product enhancements, and serve as primary contact with partner accounts that you manage. Responsible for new business development while adhering to policies and meeting established business results and client expectations of team.
This is in individual contributor role that can grow into managing a team.

Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
This candidate should be located in the Midwest region of the US.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build and manage a network of home improvement contractors that will provide financing to homeowners
  • Drive high-quality home improvement loan volume, while maintaining and promoting highly compliant behavior and integrity
  • Provide best-in-class support to network of home improvement contractor partners
  • Serve as the primary point-of-contract with partners, via phone, electronic and in-person communications, focused on educating and developing strong, long-term relationships
  • Develop and optimize sales operations processes
  • Collect, analyze, and resolve partner issues
  • Track metrics to evaluate partners’ performance
  • Consistently meet and exceed target loan volume goals
  • Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive feedback; developing employees to their full potential and providing challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • 6+ years successful B2B sales and account management experience
  • Prior work in home improvement/building construction industries, indirect lending or other financial product sales is preferred
  • Demonstrated track-record of sales performance in a home improvement lending platform is preferred
  • Knowledge of residential home improvement lending, financial products
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with CRM
  • Analytical and data driven, with ability to effectively prioritize
  • Self-starter, with ability to work well independently
  • Excellent prospecting and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive travel required
