OVERVIEW: The University of St. Thomas invites qualified candidates to apply to the Dishwasher opening within the University's Dining Services Department.

• Full Time
• $17.00 per hour
• Work directly for the university, not a food service company

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Maintain operation of dish machine, washing dishes, silverware, pots/pans, etc. to follow MN Department of Health sanitation procedures.
• Clean dish machine after each meal period. Provide guidance to student employees and MSS workers as needed.
• Sweep, mop, empty trash, and hog barrels as business levels dictate.
• Perform assigned daily and weekly cleaning tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year of experience with food preparation in an institutional setting.
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or eligible for a legally required exemption such as a medical or religious reason
• Successful completion of a criminal background check is a condition of employment for this position.

This position works a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights and weekends.

The position may be considered emergency essential, which means if campus closes due to an emergency or inclement weather, emergency essential employees still need to report and complete any regularly scheduled hours.
