The Madison Club is hiring for Dishwashers who are responsible for the maintenance and sanitation of all food service operations. Performs duties such as dishwashing, cleaning of all production equipment, floor cleaning and trash removal.

The Madison Club is open during the winter & spring season, and this role will be for a full time, seasonal need from October 2022 - June 2023. Preferred candidates will have a flexible schedule, be able to work weekends & holidays, and understand that time off requests will not be honored during March or April (key event/ festival months).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation standards in all kitchen work areas
• Provide clean cooking utensils for the culinary team and ensure that all dishware, utensils and equipment are clean, dry, and correctly stored in designated areas
• Maintain safety, proper storage of chemicals and chemical concentration logs
• Daily set up of china, glassware and all silverware items for all outlets and re-stock throughout shift as needed
• Completion of all opening/closing procedures as instructed
• Assist in maintaining all equipment and be sure it’s properly handled
• Assist in receiving food/equipment deliveries and maintain clean/organized storage areas/rooms for all culinary goods
• Demonstrate safe/proper use of all equipment at all times
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency when responding to guests needs during all interactions
• Alert Sous Chef of low inventory items
• Assist in set-up/break down of work stations
• Provide support on any other culinary-related tasks as assigned by supervisors

Skills and Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent
• Vocational training, job-related courses
• Experience in fine dining restaurant/luxury resort/private club
• Perform basic math calculations
• Frequently lift up to 30 pounds
• Use hands/fingers to handle/lift items
• Constantly stand/walk/climb or balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch or reach with hands/arms
• Must be able to stand for extended period
