ITA is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to join our team at our Headquarters office in Newport News, VA.

Responsibilities:

The Director for Talent Acquisition reports directly to the Chief People Officer and is responsible for spearheading the development of strategies that will ensure that ITA International hires and retains top talent to support its customers and HQ organization. This position will drive the full spectrum of recruiting and selection activities, to include creating and implementing talent acquisition strategies for all position levels across the company.

Duties include:
  • Designing and driving the adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing and hiring practices that support a strong candidate experience
  • Partnering with leaders within the organization to track ongoing hiring needs of their business
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment for executive positions
  • Identifying and partnering with external providers as required to ensure hiring needs are met
  • Defining and driving TA team to meet and exceed hiring benchmarks relating to time to fill, cost per hire, and hiring manager and candidate satisfaction
  • Defining and leading projects focused on continuous improvement
  • Managing a team of recruiters who effectively carry out the talent acquisition strategy for the company. Cultivating a culture of excellence and developing clear objectives for talent acquisition.
  • Ensuring that talent acquisition projects and outreach efforts align with organizational objectives.
  • Developing, implementing and reassessing guidelines for interview and hiring practices within the organization.
  • Building relationships with key organizations, external stakeholders, and sources of candidates to improve ITA's brand and applicant interest in the organization.
  • Participating in meetings with the senior leadership team as required to provide guidance and expertise
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to ensure the effective sourcing and retention of talent.
  • Creating and guiding training initiatives related to recruiting and hiring.
  • Assisting with the development and monitoring of people analytics to drive decision-making, resource allocation, and continual improvement.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years experience working as a talent acquisition manager or head of talent acquisition.
  • Business or HR related bachelors degree; master's degree or talent acquisition credential/specialty highly desired.
  • Active Secret Clearance

KSAs:
  • Knowledge of hiring processes, recruitment strategies, and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Proficient at using software and leveraging technology for talent acquisition processes.
  • A thorough understanding of state and federal legal processes, requirements, and legislation related to human resources and hiring practices.
  • Analytical mindset, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Skilled at negotiation, presentation, and execution.
  • Excellent at both verbal and written communication.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Meticulous, hard-working, and goal-driven.
