Payscale is seeking a Director, Revenue Analytics reporting to the SVP, Revenue Effectiveness. The ideal candidate has outstanding business insight, a restlessness to answer "why?" questions, and is passionate about using data to drive decision making. We need someone focused on the science of decision making. You have a passion for data visualization and are a champion for standard methodologies and data governance across the company. You have a curiosity around data and are not afraid to dive in and find the answers. You are comfortable working with small and large data sets and with a data warehouse. You will help us reach our revenue and cost goals while following best practices.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Operationalize our GTM (Go to Market) analytics strategy to ensure that all data is centralized and easily accessible to business stakeholders
  • Frame and structure complex business problems into analyses that need to be delivered to make decisions
  • Deliver insightful analyses on the sales funnel, from lead generation all the way through deal closing, to increase revenue and provide sales team members with actionable strategies
  • Design architecture for tracking key business metrics in real-time using Salesforce, Tableau, and other common B2B SaaS technologies
  • Build & maintain executive / sales leadership dashboards reporting sales, forecasting, pipeline, churn, and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) in partnership with Sales Operations
  • Identify trends in our business metrics
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders within the organization to collect feedback and evolve our reporting capabilities
  • Support business-wide data governance and data integrity across platforms
  • Ensure high quality insights and create executive summary materials with compelling recommendations tied to business impact for the Sales and Marketing teams
  • Work with executive leadership to identify new metrics and performance indicators. Analyze and explain changes in key performance indicators to business partners and leadership
  • Build and support ad-hoc pipeline and other data requests.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of B2B and/or SAAS work experience within Revenue Operations and Analytics
  • Ability to break down problems of all diverse types in a structured fashion and identify the key issues to solve
  • Experience with SalesForce and Marketo reporting
  • Strong project management skills with experience delivering high quality results in tight deadline environments
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to develop solutions working with multiple functional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Advanced degree in Data Science or Statistics highly preferred)
  • An obsession with cleaning, structuring, and analyzing complex data sets
  • An eye towards self-service, real-time capabilities across the business
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organization and time management skills
  • Experience answering complex, ambiguous questions quantitatively
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced e

Compensation


In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $142,200 - $213,200, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus of 20%. If you are hired at Payscale, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).


Location

We are a remote first company where you’re able to work primarily from your home, with company-provided equipment to set you up for success. Our employees are distributed across the US, UK, and Canada with access to WeWork or Regus space to allow for in person collaboration. We are unable to hire in Quebec Province, Northern Ireland, Hawaii.
