JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
:
Leads the organization responsible for developing and implementing integrated resource plan and for directing market operations activities in MISO and manages energy efficiency programs. Supports customer-facing sustainability discussions and solutions.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :
Leads the organization responsible for developing and implementing integrated resource plan and for directing market operations activities in MISO and manages energy efficiency programs. Supports customer-facing sustainability discussions and solutions.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Sponsor testimony and testify in regulatory proceedings on matters related to resource planning and market operations in MISO, including regulatory support for customer sustainability solutions
- Develop and implement integrated resource plan to meet the load and energy requirements of the OpCo (short and long-term)
- Manage the Resource Planning and Operations Committee
- Participate in MISO committees and stakeholder processes, develop and submit to MISO annual resource adequacy plan, and verify MISO market settlement statements
- Responsible for directing real-time market operations in MISO, including offering OpCo's generation in the MISO markets and load forecasting
- Manages co-owner relationships and governance
- Develop OpCo energy efficiency programs and manage EE contractors
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum education required of the position
- Typically requires a college or university degree in related field or the equivalent work experience
Minimum experience required of the position
- 10 + years in operations and planning experience preferred
