Director of Sales- Clarksville
The Director of Sales has direct oversight of the Sales activities and initiatives of the hotel. Responsibilities include the Sales Budget/P&L, revenue forecasting, as well as developing and writing business plans. Additionally, this role leads the development and implementation of both short-term and long-term strategies in all sales channels to achieve hotel’s revenue goals and increase market share performance.
This position leads sales managers, trainees, interns, and administrative staff. They manage recruitment and hiring of sales team, training, managing and coaching managers in their selling and servicing process in order to meet company goals and maximize hotel revenues. Must be able to train and monitor the group and transient contractual agreement process, quoting rates, sending referrals, setting traces, and the management of retention, reactivation, and acquisition accounts. As a member of the property's leadership, the Director of Sales is a highly visible role with exposure to Senior and Corporate leadership and reports directly to the General Manager with oversight from the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be proficient with computers as well as Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable with sales and revenue systems/programs.
- Advanced knowledge of both sales with relevant experience.
- A team player with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
