Once Upon a Child and Plato's Closet are franchise resale stores. We own and operate 6 stores, 5 in the St. Louis area and one in Columbia, MO. This is a new position in our company as we recognize acquiring and developing talent is central to our current and future success. We are about to move into a stunning new office environment that will also house our marketing company that provides marketing services to over 100 other stores nationally.

We've outgrown our ability to effectively staff our stores in-house and are seeking a Director of Recruiting to join our leadership team and lead the recruitment process. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive recruiting strategy, including sourcing, interviewing, and on-boarding new employees. The Director of Recruiting will also be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with potential candidates, as well as staying up to date on industry trends and best practices.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates.
- Manage the recruitment process from start to finish.
- Develop relationships with high schools, universities, career centers, and other organizations to increase awareness of the company's hiring needs.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of qualified candidates.
- Conduct background checks and reference checks on potential hires.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
