RWE is currently looking for a Director of Preconstruction and Design to work in our Downers Grove office and lead the Design team which consists of architects and designers. The idea candidate should have a background in Architecture or Engineering and be able to lead a team.
This role will report directly to the President of the company and focus on healthcare and veterinary practices throughout the US.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, requirements and specifications
- Have demonstrated leadership abilities to coordinate a team of designers and architects throughout the pre construction process.
- Review and understand all bid documents and assess project risks.
- Understand project schedules
- Review quotes and estimates with the Project Management Team.
- Be able to lead responses to RFP’s
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Requirements:
- 5-10 years as a construction management professional
- Engineering or Architectural experience preferred
- Solid knowledge of the construction process
- Positive attitude
