Edgerton Care Center is looking for a hard-working, people loving, dedicated person to join our team as the Director of Nursing!

The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for leading, planning, organizing, staffing, directing, analyzing and evaluating the nursing department as well as supervising members of the nurse management team in order to provide excellent care to our residents.

Edgerton Care Center is a 61-bed facility located in Edgerton, Wisconsin. Edgerton is a small, family town with many of our staff and residents having close relationships prior to being at our facility. It truly provides a "homelike" feel. We are looking for someone who can handle the day-to-day operations, work with staff to ensure the facility is following State guidelines.

Position Requirements include:

• Current Wisconsin state Registered Nurse license, which must be in good standing
• CPR certified
• At least 2 years of RN experience with at least one year of supervision and long-term care experience
• Previous experience in nursing management is desired
• Excellent interpersonal skills that promoted effective communication with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public
• Must be able to critically think and problem solve
