Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of experience in marketing
- 10 years of experience in Public Sector marketing
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leading B2B/B2G marketing program types across different channels (e.g., field events, digital campaigns, sponsorships, etc.)
- Experience with building marketing programs for multiple Public Sector market segments (e.g., Federal, State, Local, Education, etc.)
- Ability to partner with leadership and stakeholders across Google Cloud
- Ability to understand the impact of cloud technology on organizations
About the job
As Director of Marketing, Public Sector, you will work to provide support and guidance to regional stakeholders and share specific campaigns and programs that help them deliver on regional sales and marketing outcomes for Public Sector. You will also work with global Brand and Reputation Marketing teams as well as other Google teams to bring their programs and expertise to Public Sector.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $228,000-$342,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Own the marketing plan, align to business goals, sales/partner growth metrics, as well as the budget, and programs required to deliver on these numbers.
- Develop a solutions-based approach to integrated marketing campaigns, engage with solution stakeholders to deliver content and assets for campaigns.
- Build partner marketing programs to deliver on key partner channel outcomes.
- Drive PR and customer programs to build awareness in Public Sector audiences.
- Build a data-driven marketing approach leveraging available Public Sector research and internal data for decisions.
