Director of Marketing and Business Development-Administration
Hours 8-5 normally hours could vary based on the needs of JCMG.
The Director of Marketing and Business Development will work collaboratively with corporate and divisional leadership to create and execute effective marketing strategies across all JCMG markets and service/product line verticals. The incumbent in this role will enhance JCMG’s image and market position by organizing marketing, public relations, and outreach activities through available channels including but not limited to television, radio, print, online/SEO, and social media as well as traditional in-person sales and promotional activities.
The incumbent in this hands-on role will be proactive, driven, innovative, and creative with superb verbal and written communication skills.
Collaborate with senior leadership and departmental stakeholders to identify, capture, and promote business opportunities in support of corporate and divisional growth strategies.
Develop positive collaborative and supportive relationships with JCMG providers and physicians.
Develop understanding of market competition and create strategies to maximize JCMG competitive positioning.
Monitor and understand industry trends and identify opportunities for market growth and brand enhancement.
Establish and lead strategic marketing, public relations, communications, and brand management efforts across all markets.
Assists in development of feasibility studies and business plans for new product development.
Develop marketing campaigns for new products and services, including formulating specific budgets and timelines in a manner that demonstrates thoughtful and creative use of fiscal resources for optimal return.
Work closely with physicians to market specific services and/or products.
Build positive working relationships with peers within JCMG and community.
Coordinate community relations activities in support of and aligned with JCMG’s strategic initiatives and direction including promotional activities for new JCMG providers.
Develop effective outreach program with referring providers and employers.
4-year degree required, Masters preferred: Marketing, PR, or related field
Experience leading and performing business development activities in a healthcare or service industry environment
Direct experience with professional writing, strategy development, marketing, sales, brand management, media relations, etc.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to think both strategically and creatively
Ability to lead and communicate effectively
Ability to function in a team-oriented environment and build effective and positive working relationships with peers
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant marketing/design software programs
Proficient in budget management and contract negotiation
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to successfully manage complex and charged relationships at all levels
