The IT Director provides advanced level administration, support, planning and implementation of IT infrastructure and services. The IT Director directly oversees and is responsible for new system installation, account maintenance, access rights, system security, upgrades and patches, and provides advanced level troubleshooting of servers and services. The IT Director works collaboratively with other members of the Information Technology department to install, maintain, and manage server-based applications, network and cloud-based services, and provides lead work direction, guidance, and support to IT staff as necessary. The IT Director is responsible for planning, testing, and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery plans. They are accountable for accomplishing department goals, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and supporting the mission, goals and philosophy of Cavallo Point. As required, the IT Director conducts technical research and development to foster continuing innovation of Cavallo Point’s infrastructure and services. The IT Director ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures are configured and operating consistently with organizational priorities and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
An ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
-Strong experience supporting PMS, POS, and other supporting resort systems
-Strong experience with Microsoft Client and Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Domain Group Policy , DNS, and DHCP
-Strong experience administering Microsoft Office365
-Strong experience supporting Microsoft Office 2013-current
-Experience managing secure network access solutions including VPN, MFA, and SSO
-Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to those without technical backgrounds
-Flexible work schedule to occasionally include evenings and weekends, as well as scheduling with little advanced notice
-Detail oriented
-Ability to quickly evaluate situations and determine short and long term solutions
-Responsive to request from management, employees and volunteers
-Ability to handle stressful and changing situations
-Ability to manage multiple changing priorities
