Description:

The Director of Data & Cybersecurity is a leader in our Information Technology team and is responsible for security and compliance of Fullsteam’s IT Services and Systems. This position will have significant opportunity to impact Fullsteam through technology leadership and advocacy. Remote position with occasional travel to Auburn, AL site.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Defines, implements, and maintains security policies and procedures.
  • Develops strategies to handle security incidents and coordinates investigative activities.
  • Designs and implements education programs focused on user awareness and security compliance.
  • Reviews, evaluates design, and operational effectiveness of cyber security controls and counter measures used to protect company applications, services and solutions.
  • Support IT, business and corporate initiatives that are enterprise-wide or business critical in nature
  • Create and support enterprise-wide compliance program management standards establishing and enforcing standard methods for documentation, design, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Manages expectations and resource requirements for security and compliance programs to ensure ownership and success.
  • Develop business value justifications and cost/benefit analyses for leading edge and process improvement driven security and compliance initiatives
  • Cultivates relationships with strategic partners and other stakeholders.
  • Interfacing with Human Resources on human capital strategies including staffing, retention, and development.
  • Build and manages a high performing multi-disciplinary cyber security team to support company and role.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Works with Service Provider(s) and staff to promote timely resolution of security & compliance incidents.
  • Ability to coach a team for optimum performance
  • Ability to build goals and objectives and communicate those in a clear format to drive timely outcomes

Budget Responsibilities:

  • Develop a hiring plan in support of company objectives
  • Identify and manage employee development needs
  • Develops project budgets, capital expenditures requirements, or other cost estimates related to project as requested.
  • Driving financial management and execution (monitoring)
Requirements:

Primary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience
  • Well versed in modern IT systems, initiatives, and trends.
  • Well versed in PCI-DSS v3.2.1
  • Experience leading organizational change with a diverse cohort of stake holders and priorities.
  • Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to operate and communicate at both a strategic and a hands-on level as needed. Leader with excellent judgment and capable of autonomous decision making.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math field of study
  • Experience managing Agile project teams or Agile programs
  • Recent experience supporting VP and Director level executives
  • Demonstrated ability to build and foster effective relationships with others
  • Deep understanding of practical and effective enterprise IT governance from policy formulation, implementation & ongoing compliance.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

This position is 75% remote. The candidate would need to have a suitable work environment set up as their home office and be comfortable managing their own schedule in a non-corporate office environment. Travel is expected 25% of the time.
