About You:

The Director of Client Relations works directly with the COO+CMBDO to help ensure the smooth communication and operations of ongoing client relationships. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, and a project management/critical path-oriented approach to all projects. This role works with project managers to ensure successful project delivery; transition projects between business units; maintain all vital files and accounting records; and contribute creative solutions for clients and the agency. It is also a critical client-facing position, with the opportunity to nurture ongoing relationships and identify opportunities for client expansion.

Perhaps the most important skill in this role is excellent communication skills and an ability to manage up. This role is critical to the agency and will be involved and visible at all levels internally and externally. You will be a key contributor as our company grows and evolves

Essential Functions:

• Participates in final stages of sales and contracting process, helping to define project scope and timelines; oversees transition from sales to project team and facilitates onboarding process
• Owns client onboarding and project assignment process utilizing established processes and tools including Harvest, Harvest Forecast, Trello, Box, Hubspot, and Google Drive; identifies areas for process improvement; also owns client offboarding process
• Monitors time management and ensures tracked time on projects
• Reviews, enhances, and implements agency’s internal operational procedures
• Oversees project budgets and utilization; works with COO to analyze profitability and other agency KPIs
• Assists with recruitment and promoting culture that encourages top performance
• Plans, directs, controls, implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts project budgets to achieve financial objectives
• Improves client service and satisfaction through client outreach as well as policy and procedural changes
• Leads coordination and integration of efforts among various teams to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.

Experience and Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in a marketing function inside a law firm preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Possesses an innate bias for action
• Highly organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience with the following technologies/platforms:
  • Project management platforms, Trello preferred
  • Email marketing and automation platforms
  • Social media (particularly LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram)
  • Customer relationship management systems, HubSpot preferred
  • WordPress CMS
• Experience working with cross-functional teams a plus (e.g. sales, product, marketing, services)
• Self-motivated, takes initiative, and is able to work independently with little guidance. Is comfortable working 100% remotely.

There will be days you are doing boring work, and days you are in the driver’s seat to craft unique and memorable digital marketing assets for LISI and our clients. You have to be happy with both.
