CardioRenal Therapeutics (CRT) is a national leader in post-acute Cardiology and Nephrology clinical care. We partner with Skilled Nursing facilities, managing patients with cardiac and nephrology diagnoses with the goal of reducing the occurrence of patients readmitting back to the hospital. We are currently looking to fill an immediate position for a qualified Director of Business Development. The Director of Business Development is responsible for building and executing growth plans in the Washington and Oregon markets.

_Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Business Development – Serve as the regional development executive, creating and carrying out a growth plan strategy across Washington State and Oregon.
  • Strategy – The Director of Business Development, in partnership with the CRT COO, will analyze market trends and identify opportunities/threats. Develop plans to achieve company’s objectives related to revenue, EBITDA, capital, presence, and other key measures.
  • Collaboration – Works with our existing partner facilities to ensure they are receiving support and guidance in areas of clinical management, analyzing and presenting clinical and readmission data, and working to strengthen partner relationships.
  • Deliverables – Present the CRT model to facilities with the ability to show the added value that specialty care brings to the facilities. In partnership with the facility, present the CRT partnership model to local hospital systems.
  • Reporting – The Director of Business Development will be responsible for tracking facility readmission rates and presenting them to partner facilities.
  • Goal Setting - Advises and assists in developing organizational objectives, and plans for their achievement. Meet business development projections, generate ongoing BD opportunities, and achieve company and individual KPI goals.

Qualifications

  • Education. Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or Marketing.
  • Skilled Nursing Experience. 4+ years of experience as a skilled nursing administrator, marketer, or consultant/resource. We would like to find someone with contacts throughout the skilled nursing community to help grow our company.
  • Strategy & Planning. Demonstrated experience analyzing markets, partners, and competitors to develop 3 to 5 year growth strategies and plans. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor. Collaborate closely with Operations and Strategy to prioritize and maintain focus on highest-value opportunities.
  • Relationship Management. Passion for building trusted-advisor relationships with partners to create tangible results. Genuine interest in bringing high-quality care to more patients by aligning growth strategies with partner strategic objectives.
  • Team Leadership. Strong leadership skills with a team-oriented and collaborative approach. Ability to get things done in a way that creates a positive environment. Enjoys setting and managing priorities, aligning resources, building trust, communicating feedback, inspiring individuals, managing tradeoffs, celebrating wins, and reporting to stakeholders. Team player who is able to perform at a high level and willing to roll up sleeves to support a small but growing team in any capacity needed.
  • Communications. Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities; executive presence to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior leaders and business partners. High level of daily communications with facility and community partners.
  • Advanced Computer Skills. Proficiency in MS Office
