Director for Adult Psychiatric Services Needed!
This premier hospital located in the seaside town of Newburyport, MA is seeking an experienced leader for its Adult Psychiatric Services Department.
This 20-bed co-ed department provides short-term acute inpatient care to adults and adolescents who are 16 years and older with a broad spectrum of psychiatric problems such as mood disorders, psychotic disorders, substance abuse, trauma, and disruptive behavior disorders.
In this role, you will:
- Plan, organize, and control the operation of the department
- Provide support and guidance to team members which include RNs, Psych Counselors, Social Workers, etc.
- Develop budgets that demonstrate industry benchmark standards in productivity and performance
- Conduct staff performance appraisals and identify goals and objectives to ensure professional growth and development of team members
- Identify opportunities for improvement in patient satisfaction, staff development, and fiscal management.
Requirements:
- MSN or current enrollement in related Master's program
- Demonstrated leadership experience in similar setting
