Responsibilities/Duties
This part time DSP role is to provide support to a young adult man with autism who lives in Nashua. He is very social and likes to talk about ships and ship captains. He collects rocks and coins, and his interests include drawing, dinosaurs, airports, and railroad tracks. He requires support in the following areas:
- Social skills activities
- Companionship/Community Activities
- Transportation
- Employment support
Skills/Qualifications
- Experience with developmental disabilities/autism or a commitment to learn
- Willingness to complete Medication Certification training (paid training)
- Kindness and reliability
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of vehicle liability coverage
- Pre-employment background checks will be completed by Gateways
