Redeemer Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals for full time and part time positions.
These positions provide an opportunity to share one's life on a daily basis with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. Responsible for the overall support to individuals by teaching skills that foster independence and community integration.
RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate data systems.
- One year experience in a caregiver role (work/volunteer/or life experience preferred in the intellectual disabilities service system.Ability to facilitate communication between internal and external customersExcellent basic and persuasive communication skills
- Must have a valid PA drivers license, and satisfactory background checks including but not limited to (Pennsylvania Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance, Act 34 Criminal Clearance and Act 73 FBI Clearance).
