ASMC, a private non-profit organization supporting individuals with autism, traumatic brain injury and other intellectual developmental disabilities is seeking dedicated, dependable staff to join our team. This position is working with residents in a group home as a direct support professional performing a variety of duties assisting residents in accomplishing daily life activities and achieving personal goals as outlined in their plan of care. ( We provide services to adults)

The Responsibilities and Job duties of the Direct Support Professional:

• Habilitation goals
• Personal care goals
• Cooking & cleaning & laundry
• Money management
• Household shopping
• Transport Residents in company van to doctor appointments & and daily activities
• Good oral & written communication skills
• Computer knowledge
• Flexible to work unconventional schedules
• High stress tolerance
• Maintain harmonious relationships with other employees

Requirements of the Direct Support Professional position:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Having had a driver license for 3 years with no more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
• Current Auto Insurance policy
• Authorization to work in the USA or a US citizen
