Digital Media Coordinator Job at UCLA
Reporting to AUD's Department Manager and working closely with AUD's Director of Communications, the Digital Media Coordinator plays an important role in establishing and advancing AUD's reputation and relevance, and in attracting prospective students, collaborators, and supporters to the department. The Digital Media Coordinator manages all social media publishing and practices for AUD's five social media platforms: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
The Digital Media Coordinator works with the Director of Communications and with AUD students and faculty to strategize compelling digital-editorial and social media content and campaigns, and to source and organize the materials to support these plans. The Digital Media Coordinator will be expected to expand and deepen AUD's social media following and engagement in order to support functions including admissions and recruitment, alumni outreach and activation, and engagement with other external audiences and stakeholders.

Required/Preferred
Minimum of two years of professional social media and/or digital communications work experience, including demonstrated success using social media to expand a platform's following and engagement
Required
Bachelor's degree, ideally in the liberal arts, marketing, communications, public relations, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required
Advanced knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) and digital content strategies
Required
Familiarity with basic marketing and communications principles and strategies.

Excellent personal communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build collaborative, effective relationships; ability to work with diverse personalities and approach sensitive topics with objectivity and professionalism

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment with competing priorities and subject to last-minute changes, and to work effectively and professionally under direct supervision

Skill in collaborating with teams and in managing or collaborating with external vendors and stakeholders
