Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist will consistently maintain and refresh inventory our website and our presence on various other social media sites. Generating new business leads and prospects to our sales and service team is a priority.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage web site, product landing pages and social media.
  • Qualify leads and forward them to General Manager.
  • Photograph new/used inventory and display on dealer website and other media channels.
  • Establish/integrate an effective online presence to include social media sites, email campaigns, etc.
  • Create and distribute content for use on web, social platforms and all other mediums
  • Plan, create and implement a marketing strategy
  • Analyze and report key metrics.
  • Partner with other site providers (RV Trader, Boat Trader, etc) to increase leads
  • Improve the retention as well as the conversion of site visitors
  • Respond to leads received through phone, chat, or email.
  • Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry.
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis, brand development and identity
  • Stay current in marketing trends and news; e.g. Google updates and changes in algorithms
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

  • Demonstrates related experience in marketing, communication and media relations. Marketing or business degree in lieu of experience will be considered.
  • Knowledge of/ experience in boating and fishing preferred
  • Knowledge in key areas of marketing (social media, email marketing, etc)
  • A high level of comfort and proven experience with the Internet both from a social media and a design/navigation standpoint.
  • Must be creative, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and sense of design basics.
  • Skilled at time, task, and budget management – especially attentive to detail and deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of and high level of comfort with Microsoft Office.
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.

Work Environment

The employee works in a Marine dealership environment. The noise level in the work environment is consistent with marine dealership noise levels.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
