Digital Marketing Manager Job at U S National Whitewater Center
The Digital Marketing Manager at Whitewater is responsible for the development, execution, management, and analysis of Whitewater’s organic digital content strategy and assets with a focus on social media planning and execution. Digital assets include, but are not limited to, Whitewater websites, social media platforms, e-mail marketing, and digital activations throughout Whitewater’s marketing campaigns. The Digital Marketing Manager is a full-time, onsite, benefits-eligible position that reports to the Marketing Director.
Responsibilities
Social Media
- Plan, execute, and analyze all social media content and promotions for the suite of Whitewater brands, including the Whitewater Center, Whitewater Outposts, Gravelmap and Long Lines Climbing in conjunction with the marketing team.
- Perform continuous analysis on Whitewater’s audience, acquisitions, engagement, conversions, and behavior across all social media platforms.
- Proactively research social marketing trends across a variety of platforms to stay current with industry standards for consumer-facing brands and best practices.
- Provide social coverage and engaging content pertaining to Whitewater events, races, and competitions throughout the year.
Digital Asset Management
- Update, maintain, and advance Whitewater’s webpages, calendars, e-commerce outlets, and other digital platforms, including content creation, curation, and general management.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to continually produce inspiring and relevant digital content to be used within a variety of marketing campaigns.
- Manage Whitewater’s e-mail marketing platform through audience cultivation, content planning, and execution of campaigns in conjunction with other forms of Whitewater promotional activity and communications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related discipline.
- 4-6 years relevant experience in a social media management or digital marketing role, preferably with a public-facing brand.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and an aptitude for critical analysis.
- The ability to work with urgent deadlines, change priorities, and manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in earned media/social media.
- Knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS, MailChimp, WordPress, and all applicable social media platforms.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during other Whitewater events as needed.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to work outdoors for sustained periods of time in all weather and environmental conditions.
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stand, lean, and kneel on a regular basis and for sustained periods of time.
- Must be able to safely self-transport over uneven terrain or in a confined space.
- Must be able to work in shared spaces with other employees and customers.
- All positions as Whitewater require employees to report and work onsite at Whitewater locations.
