We are a 24 hours skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing quality care to our residents with 62 bed rooms which includes 44 private rooms. Our services include 24 hours nursing care, Medicare certified beds, physical, occupational, and speech therapy and so much more.


Summary Description: The primary function of the Dietary Aide is responsible for set up, assembly and service of food to residents in the dining room and/or respective units. Performs a variety of food service tasks including some food preparation, and sanitation of dishware, utensils, equipment and Food Service Department. Assists cooks and Food Service Director in maintaining department and facility standards to provide the highest quality service and products to the residents.

Qualifications: In order to be considered for the position you must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.

Education:

• Must have the ability to understand and follow written and oral directions.
• Ability to read, write, speak and perform simple arithmetic.

Experience:

• No experience necessary.
• Must be able to use serving measurements and have basic knowledge of sanitation and food safety handling. Ability to plan and organize work to complete in established periods.

Working Conditions:

• Variable temperature changes with exposure to heat, cold and wet conditions. Daily hazards that include irritating chemicals and soaps, hot equipment, slippery floords, sharp objects and extreme temperatures of water.
• Have professionalism when in contact with other staff, residents, families and other facility staff.

Physical Requirements:

• Meet facility policies and procedures regarding necessary physical health.
• Bending/stooping, standing/walking and lifting must be met to be employed due to the essential functions and elements of the job.
