Robert Half's Desktop Support Technician role is for someone with a flair for clearly breaking down and explaining convoluted technical information in a way that is easily understood by non-technical users. This is a Professional Services industry job. We're looking for self-starters with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for working in an innovative environment. Located in the Minneapolis, Minnesota, area, this Desktop Support Analyst role is permanent in nature.

Your responsibilities

• Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
• Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
• Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
• Interface regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
• Fix computer problems, and recommend appropriate action/solutions
• Supply computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
• Desktop Imaging experience
• Deep understanding of Printer Problems
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office
• Image Deployment experience preferred
• 2+ years of desktop support or other related experience
• Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing
