Mainelli Wagner & Associates is a growing civil engineering firm in search of a roadway design engineer based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our reputation in the local engineering and construction industries is second to none, and we are seeking individuals that will help us grow, while maintaining that reputation. Candidates should be honest, hard-working, team players that are capable of multi-tasking and learning new things. Daily duties may include: project and staff management; customer relations; complete plan development and design on a variety of land development, roadway, and structural related projects.
Applicants who possess experience and knowledge of the following skills are encouraged to apply:
- Design analysis and calculations to support a variety of roadway projects
- Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of roadway drainage structures
- Coordination with owners, engineers, and construction managers
- Experience with MicroStation or Openroads preferred
- Adhere to a strict quality control requirements
Applicants have obtained BS or MS degree in civil engineering preferred, and 3 or more years of experience in roadway design. Additionally, applicants should be a licensed Professional Engineer in Nebraska, or have to ability to become licensed within 6-months. A valid driver’s license is required; employees may be required to travel.
